Great sushi, kind of pricey overall good service and experience

I love this place. As a matter of fact, I'll be bringing my wife on a date here some time. I've never been to a sushi place before here and I loved it. Slightly sceptical but it was a good calming atmosphere. I think our waiter was a little new and didn't know much, so we kind of took a wild card chance and thoroughly enjoyed every minute there

Both of us asked for medium rare filet mignon, came out well-done for both of us. We sent it back and when it returned, they were both raw and cold in the centre. Our server avoided us for the night, except to bring us the bill. The only star is for the hostess who was also the only good part of the experience.

Sushi was fantastic! Price was fair, especially compared to other sushi spots. One of my family's favorites. Plus a very warm atmosphere.

We have always liked Tegry. Yes, service is a little slow sometimes but the food has always been worth the wait. We go out to eat to relax and usually are not in a hurry to get somewhere immediately afterwards. Sushi is our main reason for going so we have not really tried to much else. Have had, yakitori, fried rice, miso soup, and noodles. The family has never complained of the food quality or the service.

Worked next door to this place for 6 years.. Best chicken fried rice and awesome workers!

Always a good experience with delicious sushi!

I have been to this restaurant twice and I will not go back. They are way over priced and it takes forever to get your food even when there are only a few other people in there. I would not recommend this place.

Firstly, the staff had no idea what I was asking for over the phone when I ordered. I was saying "Chicken Teriyaki bento with Gyoza" as it appeared on the menu. It took a good few minutes before they understood (It wasn't a "lost in translation" thing as the staff seemed to speak clear english). The staff were friendly when I picked up and the restaurant seemed nice enough.Unfortunately, the food was awful. The chicken teriyaki had seemingly no flavour, the side of vegetables was two pieces brocolli, two pieces of carrot, two pieces of zuchinni, very underwhelming. The rice was dry and clumpy and the chicken breast was far too big to be natural and tasted almost reformed. There didn't seem to be any teriyaki sauce on there either. The sushi was a similar story- dry and tasteless. I won't be going to Tegry again.

I love the sushi here, but the last 2 times I ordered carry out I was told it would be half an hour & then I ended up waiting an hour AFTER the quoted time to get my food. If you want good sushi & have plenty of spare time, then I recommend it. Just make sure to order before you get too hungry.

Quick sushi to go is the way to go. Wish I had time to enjoy the cozy and quiet atmosphere.

Waited 10 minutes after seated to be greeted and waited 1 hour 20 minutes after placing order and they still hadn't begun to make food. Asked to see the manager and she refused to come out. Then they still charged us for the drink. Will never return.

I've been to both locations and just LOVE LOVE LOVE the sushi!

I've eaten here before and it was fine but today they messed up everyone's order the service was bad and my check was wrong. Good food terrible service my guess is try the same restaurant on 86th st.

Tegry serves my all time favorite sushi and steak. I have been eating here since the very beginning when the owner (Joe) first started the business. The Crunchy Spicy Tuna Rolls are my fave, and the steak is to die for.

We have always enjoyed their food and the sushi offerings. Unique place on the west side with a cozy atmosphere. Check them out the next time your looking for a new sushi experience.

I'm surprised to see so many people loved the sushi here. It wasn't terrible, but there is much better sushi in the Indianapolis area. It did not taste as fresh as it should have. I was the only person in the restaurant at dinner time and other restaurants in the shopping center area were packed. The server carried the water pitcher with his hand inside, touching the pour spout. It is probably not unsafe sushi, but there is MUCH better taste and quality within a reasonable drive. It is unlikely I will choose to go back to Tegry Bistro.

I love Tegry. They're sushi is awesome, and they make it all while you wait. Super good food.

I absolutely love this place and it is such a cute little restaurant with great service. Very cozy and the sushi, ah MAN!!!! It's to die for!! Wish I could eat there every day

Yum! Fast service. They have multiple locations. Currently, Brownsburg doesn't have the menu posted online. I had to wait to get my delicious sushi, though, as the restaurant is closed on Sunday.

Great selection, quiet atmosphere, and very affordable. We will be going back soon. Beautifully prepared sushi.

Food tasted good, but was a little pricey. The restaurant only had us and one other customer and we were forgotten about when we were ready to leave. We waited about 15 minutes after completing our meal and we finally had to go and get someone. Maybe it will be better next time.

Nothing went right. Two menus, three people. Didn't bring all appetizers. Food came out piecemeal over 20 minutes. Veggie sushi had fishy taste. Ginger was bad. Didn't bring ordered rice with meal. Bill includes extra items. Didn't bring silverware with chicken dish. Do not recommend.

I recently was converted to being a sushi lover by my fiance. We have had sushi in several places, but Tegry is by far the best I've had. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Took my wife here for dinner today, stood at the host stand for quite some time, 5-6 employees walked by us numerous times, didn't even acknowledge we were standing there, say hi, or we'll seat you guys in a minute, just ignored us. Left and got a pizza instead.

Really amazing sushi! Gyoza is great. Chicken fried rice is the best! I would come here everyday !:D

Definitely enjoyed our food! Service was great, no hovering and asked at appropriate times for refills and plate removal. My husband and I will be coming back for more date nights.

I've eaten here a lot over the last few years. They have a good selection to choose from. The food is always tasty. Only once did we have a mix up on our order, and felt the waitress should've apologized but she only said, "I don't know what to say, your rice is cooking." (Rice doesn't take 45 minutes to cook, we believe she forgot to order it.) I met some friends there again last night; the food and service was perfect, that's why I keep going back. So every other time we've had wonderful service. I like the fact that it's quiet and fresh food. And I think its great that Brownsburg supports this type of restaurant. By the way, the prices are comparable to other sushi locations too.So if you're looking for a relaxing, quiet atmosphere with fresh food, this is a place to consider.

Really enjoy going here. Never had a bad meal. Decor could use a little updating.

The service is sub-par – actually it’s even worse that than that… Sub-sub-par? It takes so long to get an order than I have taken to calling ahead and placing my order so that I have time to dine-in in only an hour. Did you catch that? I have to call ahead, to dine in. It’s ridiculous. We spent 2 hours there last night, they apparently had 1 hostess and no servers, with our 2 year - - she was absolutely miserable.The sushi is fine, and by “fine” I mean it’s the only option in Brownsburg.

Ordered for 5 over the phone. Got there to pick up the food 45 minutes later. They got a part of the order wrong and two things were suddenly out of stock. Had to wait another 45 minutes for them to make the correction and substitutions. Of course by then the rest of the food was cold. Half the stuff was bland and disappointing. Will not be ordering again.

SOOOOOO DIRTY! This place needs a deep clean. Every surface is sticky and dirty. Used to be good.

I’m not sure how this place even ranks at 3.9 stars. I’ve been here twice, the first time service was slow on a slow night and our order was wrong.... Which, is disappointing considering it was the only thing I wanted to splurge on for my birthday. Decided to give it another try in good faith with my daughter.... we were there an hour and a half.... 20 minutes of that spent eating.... the rest of the that time was spent waiting for over priced mediocre at best sushi. When we finished eating and waited for the check. That was the last 30 minutes in itself, especially considering we were walked by umpteen times and I had taken the time to consolidate the dishes and napkins. The only plus side to this place is the tall, young, thin gentleman is very polite.

My favorite place. I usually come 2 times a week. Owners and staff are very friendly and their food is amazing !!
